About Our Wicks & Parts Scared to know which product to buy? Dazed from all of the choices on the internet? Buy wicking and parts with confidence knowing all of our products are manufacture load rated and performance tested to be the highest standard available. Relax and let my years of experience work for you. I won't sell wicks or parts that I would not use on my own fire gear. Some sites offer 1/16 thick wicking at a much lower price. If you decide to go that way when choosing wicking remember you have to buy twice as much wicking to equal the 1/8 inch thick. Tips *Poi heads take 2' to 6' of wicking for each head. *Most common poi heads are made from 2" x 1/8" wicking. *For a bigger flame use our 2.5" x 1/8" wicking. *Staff and tube style poi wicks commonly use 4" x 1/8" ranging from 3' to 6' in length. |

All constructed from Kevlar blended wicking either 2"x1/8" or 2.5"x1/8" folded style with blind rigged hardware, meaning no exposed metal on the bottom of the wicks. All prices are in pairs (2).

We only carry the finest Kevlar/fiberglass reinforced wicking available. We are always stocked with plenty of our standard wicking. See charts below. However, you can custom order any size wicking from 1/2" to 6" wide in a wide range of thickness. Also available in custom order is Kevlar/metal reinforced wicking. Ropes
The new age in fire rope is now here at a price you can afford. For years most fire performers used a Kevlar knitted rope with a pure fiberglass core. Now Fire By Riz offers a rope with Kevlar and other aramid blended core, at prices lower than the old style fiberglass core rope. This new rope is 5 times more absorbent. This means longer burn times! This rope is also much more flexible and will give any fire tool made from it a more natural feeling flow. This rope has a stretch rate of about 10% when loose. Due to the ropes pliable and sponge like nature, Rope is measured when pulled tight. No refunds on wicking by the foot under 50 ft. Tips for ordering to make monkey fist wicks: Small/Med monkey fist wicks use aprox 11ft of 3/8 per wick Large monkey fist wicks use aprox 18 ft of 3/8 per wick Ex large monkey fist wicks use aprox 19 ft 1/2 per wick |

Poi Parts Chain Leashes Welded link chain with very small links perfect for hyper loops. Leash hardware is zinc plated for long life. Swivels are black rated 350lbs. Sold as pairs only. Grips are 1-inch wide two-finger or one-finger style grip made from poly-nylon. Grips are 4 inches long machine sewn together for long life and finished off with a brass press fit eye. Quick Links are 220lb manufacturer's load rated zinc plated. |
